Vision Statement

Our Programs
PadUp Kenya runs practical, community‑rooted programs designed to support girls in Chumani Village, Kilifi County with dignity, education, and long‑term empowerment. Each program is shaped by real needs and lived experience.
Dignity Packages & Community Pad Drives
We provide monthly Dignity Packages to girls in schools and the community. Each package includes sanitary pads, underwear, soap, and a menstrual health education card.
To sustain this work, we organize Pad Drives with local businesses, women’s groups, churches, youth groups, and diaspora supporters. These drives help us maintain a steady supply of products and expand our reach to more girls every month.
Together, we ensure no girl misses school because she lacks pads.
Menstrual Health Education & Community Awareness
We host safe, supportive sessions where girls learn how to manage their periods confidently and hygienically. These sessions cover:
-
Menstrual health
-
Hygiene practices
-
Body awareness
-
Confidence and self‑esteem
We also engage parents, guardians, and community leaders to break stigma, encourage open conversations, and build a supportive environment for girls at home and in school.
Education empowers girls and transforms communities.
Future Programs
We are working toward long‑term, sustainable solutions that uplift girls beyond their periods, including:
-
A PadUp Kenya Girls’ Hub for mentorship, learning, and safe conversations
-
Sanitary pad training workshops to promote sustainability
-
A Menstrual Health Ambassador Program led by trained girls and community champions
Our vision is to build a future where every girl stands tall, supported, and unstoppable.
