PadUp Kenya is transforming lives across Chumani community and beyond by ensuring that menstrual health is no longer a barrier to education, dignity, or opportunity. Through our programs, we reach girls, mothers, and entire communities with practical support and powerful conversations that change mindsets.

💖Our Reach

  • 724 girls have received Dignity Packages containing sanitary pads, underwear, and hygiene essentials.

  • 5 schools now run regular menstrual health sessions led by PadUp Kenya ambassadors.

  • 141 mothers have participated in community awareness talks, learning how to support their daughters.

  • Local partnerships with CBOs, Ministry of Health, Kilifi County and local Comprehensive schools have expanded our reach to remote villages.

📚 Education & Awareness

We believe that knowledge is power. Our menstrual health education sessions help girls and women understand their bodies, break taboos, and build confidence. Each session includes:

  • Interactive discussions on menstrual hygiene and reproductive health.

  • Demonstrations on safe pad use and disposal.

  • Open forums for mothers and daughters to share experiences.

🧡 Community Engagement

PadUp Kenya thrives on community involvement. We work hand‑in‑hand with local leaders, teachers, and volunteers to:

  • Organize Pad Drives and Dignity Package distributions.

  • Host Menstrual Health Awareness Days.

  • Train Youth Ambassadors to lead peer education in schools.

  • Establishing Girls’ Hubs for mentorship, skill‑building, and leadership training.

  • Supporting Ambassador Programs that empower girls to become advocates for menstrual health.

  • Promoting reusable pad production to ensure sustainability and local economic growth.
